For All EU Countries:
- Personal Identification: Ensure you have a valid passport or national ID card.
- Proof of Residency Change: Necessary documentation proving a change in residency.
- Inventory List: A detailed account of all personal items being moved.
Specific Requirements:
- From the UK: Export Declarations are necessary for goods sent to Spain starting March 30, 2024, under the new Customs Declaration System.
- Within the EU: An EORI number is required for importing goods to Spain from other EU countries.
- From International Locations: Certain items may require an import license, phytosanitary certificates for plants, or specific vehicle documentation including ownership proof and permits for temporary import.
For Special Items:
- Special permits may be needed for art, antiques, and sport guns. New items less than six months old might be subject to taxes and duties.
Motor Vehicles:
