    Living in Coin or Monda

Both villages of Coin and Monda are very popular for expats,  located in a valley surrounded by mountain reliefs, offers a more quiet, unspoilt & cheaper location to live than the larger towns of Marbella & Malaga. That’s why Matthew James Removals has moved so many british expats to these two villages, from small apartments to larger villas.

    Living in Coin

Coín is a town in the Province of Málaga, Spain, The town has an official population of 22,000 inhabitants. Expats now make up a substantial proportion of the towns inhabitants and are attracted to Coín http://www.coin.es due to the fact it is only 25 minutes from the beaches of Málaga and Marbella, including the 50 km stretch of coastline in between which includes the popular resorts of Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Benalmádena.

Main attraction is The city of cinema a project carried out in the area of “Nacimiento” to produce a television series, but was turned into a tourist area as well. For many years, Coin was the setting for several series, first the British Eldorado for the BBC, and after that the Andalucian “Plaza Alta” soap operas and “Arrayan“, both recorded in “Loasur” studios produced by “Linze TV“, and shown by “Canal Sur“. At present, tourism, construction, and the hospitality industry have replaced old industries, although there are still many potters and several quarries where local marble, dolomite rock and sand are produced for construction materials.

Monda is a town in the province of Málaga,  of Andalusia in southern Spain. Situated approximately 44 kilometres from the provincial capital of Málaga and 10 from Coín. The recently built road linking it to Marbella, and the rapidly developing suburbs have made it accessible for Expats. The focal point of the town is the La Villeta Castillo (Castle), which crowns the hill that Monda inhabits.
